Our Story
Décor by Drí LLC, is a Black Woman Owned, eco-conscious Household Fragrance Boutique based in Rahway, New Jersey. Our décor includes hand poured luxury vegan candles, premium reed diffusers, fragrance room sprays, wax melts, gift sets, accessories and more.
Our luxury scented candles are individually hand poured with coco apricot crème. Coco apricot crème is a vegan blend of natural coconut and apricot waxes. Coconut and apricot waxes hold high fragrance percentages which allow our candles to disperse strong fragrances when burned.
We use wooden wicks to provide strong fragrance throws which enable the fragrance to linger in the air for longer periods of time after being extinguished. Additionally, to provide a cozy ambiance, our wooden wicks create soft crackling sounds reminiscent of a warm fireplace. Our wooden wicks are ethically sourced, vegan, eco-friendly and non toxic. As candle alternatives, we offer premium reed diffusers, fragrance room sprays and soy wax melts.
In the future, we plan to launch our full décor line, consisting of handmade decorative sculpture & pillar candles, handmade resin & marble coasters/ trays, curated unique modern & vintage glassware/dinnerware, etc.
Décor by Drí gets inspiration from Art Deco, tropical and modern interior design styles. We launch new collections several times a year to ensure our décor is exciting and unique. Décor by Drí prides ourselves in creating luxury décor that is high quality, natural and unique.
Meet The Founder + Owner
Alexandria aka Dria or Drí, is a self taught candle maker and had a passion for home décor and interior design at a young age. Driven by her entrepreneurial spirit, Drí marketed and sold handmade décor to neighbors, friends and family. She wanted to keep her passion alive by starting a luxury home décor and fragrance company.
In 2015, Drí graduated from Temple University’s Fox School of Business with her B.B.A. in Accounting. She has a finance background and is a Fortune 500 Manager of Business Operations and Co-Chair of the Women’s Network by day and Artist by night. In November 2020, she launched Décor by Dri LLC.
Drí is of Trinidadian, Jamaican and Venezuelan decent. Born and raised in New Jersey, she is proud to represent the state with her hand poured products. Additionally, Drí brings her Caribbean and Latin American flare/culture to her products for you to enjoy.
Drí believes positive vibes are created with home décor and fragrance. Sight and smell are two of the strongest human senses. We exude the energy of our decorated homes and spaces. We remember specific fragrances because they’re nostalgic. Drí wants you to create aesthetics and bask in luxury when using her products.
